London Eye

The London Eye opened March 2000, initially to much derision as many though it an eyesore on the London skyline. However attitudes quickly changes and the London Eye really is as much of a London landmark as Nelson’s Column! Designed by husband and wife architects David Marks and Julia Barfield the wheel was build to signify the ending of one Millennium and the beginning of the next The London Eye was originally called the Millennium Wheel and in the beginning was sponsored by British Airways, so is often referred to as the British Airways London Eye or British Airways Millennium Wheel Whatever you choose to call it you are sure to have an unforgettable experience.
