The London Eye opened March 2000, initially to much derision as many though it an eyesore on the London skyline. However attitudes quickly changes and the London Eye really is as much of a London landmark as Nelson’s Column! About 3.5 million people visit the London Eye every year – however most people pay more than they need because by booking with Discount London you can save money and time. Plan your day by booking other key London attractions such as Madame Tussauds and The London Dungeons.

Each pod will take about 20 people to a height of 135m and you can see up to 40 kilometers in each direction – London literally changes before your eyes. The wheel takes 30 minutes to revolve which allows plenty of time for you to enjoy all the fantastic views.

Designed by husband and wife architects David Marks and Julia Barfield the wheel was build to signify the ending of one Millennium and the beginning of the next The London Eye was originally called the Millennium Wheel and in the beginning was sponsored by British Airways, so is often referred to as the British Airways London Eye or British Airways Millennium Wheel Whatever you choose to call it you are sure to have an unforgettable experience.
